Back in the Seventies when I went did my BA at UC Santa Cruz, brain hemispheres and consciousness was the hot topic. Brains have two halves called hemispheres which are separate but connected by the “Corpus Collosum”
For many years, the entire field was frozen due to lack of a scientific test for precisely measuring preferred hemispheric usage.
With the development of the online Brainworks left brain right brain brain hemisphere lateralization test, science has given us exact answers.
The Brainworks is simple 20 question test which you can take for free online and which provides instant scoring.
The test can be found at by visitng Take the Brainworks Test. it welcomes you with
We all use both hemispheres of our brains to some degree but in most people one side dominates. It goes on to explain:
Do you use your left or right hemisphere more? Discover the role of left-brain/right-brain plays in your personality. Our popular Brainworks program is now a FREE online application so you can use it from any computer no download needed! More formally known as brain lateralization, this short quiz will show you things about yourself not revealed by other psychology tests. This left hemisphere right hemisphere brain test is the most accurate on the Internet!
Another great left-brain right brain test resource is Left Brain Right Brain Test on the popular social software site, Squidoo.

The brain needs care just like the body!
Now you can train your mind with the world’s best brain games online. The name of the website is Luminosity and it comes highly recommened by our editors and staff!
In a study funded by the National Institute of Health, scientists found that memory, reasoning and processing speed can be improved by brain training. Moreover, they found that cognitive improvements persisted for at least five years. Lumosity is a scientifically designed brain training program.
Based on the concept of neuroplasticity - the brain’s ability to learn and physically adapt given appropriate stimuli - brain games and exercises are engineered to train and improve:
- memory
- attention
- processing speed
- cognitive control
Lumosity brain training program has been shown to improve memory and attention in randomized, controlled clinical trials. The development and testing of Lumosity was guided by some of the leading scientists in neuroscience, cognitive psychology and bioinformatics.

Tune Up Your Brain at Happy Neuron — FREE 7 Day Trial
I just through taking the subways through Paris. I’ve been visiting different parts of the City through the tubes and I think I’ve got the stops all figured out now.
I actually did ride the Paris subways a few years ago but my current explorations were online and virtual. I was playing on the scientifically developed brain games from Happy Neuron.
As my skill at navigating the Paris tubes increased, the challenges kept getting more and more difficult. After I was finished, I consulted with my online Brain Training coach about which game to use next.
I found out about Happy Neuron from the great Mindware Forum blog in the post, Make Every Braincell a Happy Neuron
